Clyde Waterfront Regeneration : ウィキペディア英語版 | Clyde Waterfront Regeneration
Clyde Waterfront is a 20 km stretch of the River Clyde, Scotland, running east-west from Glasgow Green in the heart of Glasgow, to Dumbarton on the Firth of Clyde. With over 200 projects on both sides of the Clyde, this is one of Britain's largest urban renewal projects. Throughout the Clyde Waterfront area, projects are in place to transform business, housing, tourism and the infrastructure of the area. The total anticipated investment in Clyde Waterfront from public and private money is now estimated at £5-6 billion. As well as supporting inward investment and tourism, the aim of the regeneration of the Clyde is to benefit local communities. It is intended that local people will benefit from the improvements to transport and leisure facilities, shops and businesses, and from new jobs coming into the area. An estimated 50,000 new jobs will be created as businesses relocate in the area and more housing is built. Re-training is vital and a range of support is available locally to make sure residents can exploit the new opportunities as they arise. Clyde Waterfront, the group which co-ordinates and promotes the regeneration, is a partnership between the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and the local authorities of Glasgow, West Dunbartonshire and Renfrewshire. ==Projects==
